Roll Up! Natalia Vodianova and Karlie Kloss Host Fun Friends at Their Fabulous Fair

“The wheel of fortune is my favorite one to play—it’s my masterpiece,” said a beaming Natalia Vodianova, the dazzling host of her second London Fashion Week fundraiser. Illuminated by the glow of the wheel, her custom red sequined Calvin Klein minidress dazzled. With last year’s event raising more than 347,000 pounds for her Naked Heart Foundation, the stakes (and the glamour) were high. By 10:30 p.m. the total was already at 600,000 pounds.
Old Billingsgate Market in London was transformed with carnival lights as guests including Natasha Poly, Charli XCX, Lily Donaldson, and Jamie Campbell Bower scampered around in black-tie trying their luck with Suzy Menkes donkey derby or hooking a duck (and winning a Repossi heart ring in the process—as Justin O’Shea did for his girlfriend, Veronika Heilbrunner). “London is such a fun city, and the idea of the fund fair is so universal for children, and we were all children once. So if we have fun tonight, we can bring more fun to children in need,” said Vodianova, before her son Lucas pulled her away to play miniature golf.

This Is How Natalia Vodianova Gets Ready for Her Biggest Party of the Year

Last weekend, Natalia Vodianova, the seemingly ageless supermodel with the Cinderella-style origin story (discovered while working at a fruit stall in Nizhny Novgorod), hosted one of London’s biggest bashes on the social calendar: the Fabulous Fund Fair. The bedazzled fete raises financial support for her charity, the Naked Heart Foundation, a philanthropic organization that focuses on disadvantaged children in Russia, including those with special needs, partly inspired by her sister, who has cerebral palsy. And its anything but some stale sit-down dinner: Vodianova teamed up with Karlie Kloss to throw a haute carnival, complete with activities like a Givenchy tattoo parlor and games of hook-a-duck—with bling-y prizes donated by Repossi. So how does one prepare for such a luxed-up circus? For Vodianova, it includes a little help from her fellow catwalker Mariacarla Boscono, some bejeweled wrists, and, of course, a stellar frock—custom made by Calvin Klein. Here, see how Vodianova’s evening came together.
